2026, feature, in post-production
After the death of her father, Meral spends a period of time in her mother’s village house with her six-year-old son, Ali. She invites her old friend Nilay to join them. Three women and a child come together under the same roof.
Daily life continues, yet conversations remain unfinished and distances are carefully maintained. Outside, the land stretches in its own rhythm-wind, animals, open fields offering a different measure of time. Ali moves between the house and the landscape, listening, watching, sensing what the adults leave unnamed.
A quiet closeness slowly forms between Nilay and the child. Traces of the past surface within the present stillness.
One night, Meral leaves without explanation.
In her absence, the bond that had already begun to take shape deepens. As days pass, the balance within the house shifts; distances rearrange themselves. When departure comes again, what remains is not solitude, but a closeness carried forward.
